Already posted my 2 pages this month, buuuut I figured I’d post one more just cause I’m eager to get this chapter finished. x) Still a bit of pages left, but it’s starting to dwindle down.
So there’s some new things that were revealed in this page. Null and Shieff was once the Guardian of a very powerful Star Warrior named Lord Paverok Kalmari- the son of the first Star Warrior, Lord Kalamar Kalmari. At this point if you don't know who the Legendary Three are in my series, then I don't know what to say. XDD
ALSOOOO! You find out their real names!! Madar, and Tekel. x) (Though it was already posted here.) There’s some other small little easter eggs in one of the illustrations so I won’t spoil it for you. x)
So the thing with Nonsurat. Okay, so before I explain it, I just wanna say you don’t need to understand this scene to understand the rest of the comic. What I’m about to say may upset some of you, but if you wanna know what’s happening then please read below. (This is for people who literally just want to know more about the lore of GW since the series is VERY lore heavy. If you don't prefer that, then see you in the next page~)
Okay, ready? 'Cause there's going to be A LOT of links and references to old chapters now.
For starters, please take a look at Page 5 of Chapter 13- Pawns of War.
This is the scene where Shieff pulls Nonsurat out of a type of warped dimension. BUT now knowing he was once a Guardian, we can now conclude that this is his Celestial Void. I’ve shown Bate’s Celestial Void many times in past chapters. ( Page 17 of Chapter 8 ) , (Page 7 of Chapter 10) And just recently Page 5 of this chapter!
All Star Warriors and Guardians have one. And Shieff is still able to connect to his even though he’s been corrupted.
——--
That being said, I have mentioned before that these places can also be corrupted. (Explained Here) and (Shown Here)
As you can see with those black rods, Shieff is beyond corrupted. Null also told Bate in this page that anyone who touches said rods will experience an unbearable amount of pain. It was a technique created by one of the Legendary Three, and I thiiiink it's safe to assume which one of the three created it.
Nonsurat was captured by Shieff way back in Chapter 11, Page 16. So during that time Nonsurat was subjected to severe torture while being held.

Okay, since that’s been explained, take a very good look at Page 8 of Chapter 13. You can see when Nonsurat opens his eyes, they’re two different colors. Very subtle, so I don’t know if anyone caught that. >v< Being blessed by Lord Paverok, being given life by a god has slightly changed his appearance. (I actually showed it here in this doodle as well. If anyone caught it there. XDD)
Nonsurat is unable to remember much about his time in the Celestial Void, but he does remember peace at one point. Calm, soothing…a feeling like he’s in a safe place, before waking up in the arms of Shieff in Pawns of War.
So in a nutshell!
Nonsurat almost died at the hands of Shieff when he put him in a severely corrupted Celestial Void, only to be saved by the remnant of Lord Paverok. In doing so, one of his eyes have changed colors.
That’s all. Like I said, knowing this won’t change how you view the comic….ahhh, actually maybe it will cause I didn’t mention one thing, but I’ll talk about that later on. >v< Most of the stuff I talked about is explaining the lore in GW. If you enjoy the lore of my series, then I suppose you’ve read it.
And if that’s the case, let’s give Nonsurat a BIIIIG hug cause he’s been such a strong warrior~! 8D
