Yup, Atka's master is the one and only, Bate. ^u^ Did you Guess correctly? I did giveseveral hints throughout the series to show she was his Guardian....the major one being that they are the same age and share the same birthday.
Ah, alright, now it's time to explain more of the Warp Star once more! Again, this is just my own, personal theory for it. Please read below, and enjoy!!
Theory #2 "The Place of Memories
So in this page you get to see the same place Bate took Meta in Torn Chapter. As I explained before, it's a place where only Star Warriors can channel. It's a place where they can be alone with their thoughts- a secure place where no one can hurt them. Some may also communicate with other Star Warriors in said place if skilled enough.
Every Star Warrior has a "Place" they can go to. And just for the sake of pleasing the canon folk, we saw Kirby's "Place" in the anime. His was a void in space. I believe what defines this "Place" is their first happy memory. If I remember correctly, when Kirby woke in the first episode, the first thing that made him smile was the view of the vast galaxies and stars when he looked out of his ship. Because of this, his "Place" was taken as the form of stars in space.
With Bate, his "Place" is a blank canvas with petals constantly raining from the sky. I never posted what his first happy memory was, and I think I'll keep it a secret for now. x) Though I will say that it has to do when he was just a toddler in South Nova. Atka was the one who gave him his happy memory. ^u^
Every Star Warrior's "Place" is different. As you can see, Bate and Kirby are totally different. There are extreme, rare cases where two warriors can share the same "Place." Their first happy memory can be replaced with another if the bond between warriors are strong enough.
So, as stated above, this particular place is mostly used just to collect thoughts. It's where they can properly think things though when they're in peril. The Warp Star holds many mysteries, and it's still an enigma in the eyes of Warrior and Guardian. But after many years of prying and rule breaking, another secret has been unlocked.
The Warp Star is a holder of the users memories. It's able to record and display every second of their Warrior's life. Happy, sad, painful or blissful. Every chapter and journey, past or present- the Warp Star will reveal everything about its Warrior. It's not known what the exact purpose of this feature is, though. In fact, no one up to this point knew the Warp Star had this ability. It's considered taboo, however. Meddling with a Warp Star is considered a disgrace in the Guardian world. A Guardian is not to tamper with their Master's star. Doing such a thing can harm, and even kill the warrior and the Guardian itself. Because of past incidents, this rule was placed in order to protect them.
Only one Guardian was skilled enough to able to tame this powerful, yet dangerous Warp Star ability. Atka, because of her tampering, stripped her title as Guardian. She knew the consequences and risks of doing such a thing, but she knew that the only way to protect her master and future generations was to unlock the Warp Star's secrets. Some may call her a selfish Guardian for putting her Master's life on the line, but Atka deeply cares and loves Bate. She would do anything to protect him. If asked what her intentions were for doing such a thing, she will respond that it was because she was unable to protect her master when he was at his lowest point in life. She never wants to see another Guardian fail to protect their master as she did to Bate.
The Warp Star still has many mysterious to unlock. This is just the first steps into knowing their true role of a Guardian and Warrior’s life.
