My dear, sweet Ellie,
It feels like a dream...
I can't believe, after all this time, I was a father.
The two of us- parents. Ellie, can you believe it?! We're parents!
The word feels so foreign as I keep repeating it.
Parents.....
The one thing we always wanted to be....
Oh, Ellie, I couldn't be happier!
I hug our two children and begin to cry.
My own flesh and blood...
My daughter and son....
My dear Emma and Kade.
I promise I'll be the best father I can be,
I promise I'll never leave your side,
And most of all....
I promise we'll always be a family.
