Ellie looked at the flustered Puffball in front of her. She walked towards him and grabbed the lone flower he was holding out for her. She gingerly touched the petals and smiled.
"What's this for?"
"I just...you know, thought you'd like it, alright?" Bate crossed his arms and looked away. "Is that a crime?"
Ellie lightly giggled at the mixture of hostility and stubbornness in his voice. She leaned forward and pecked his cheek.
"Thank you..."
