Oh, poor Bate never really like his teenage years. ;o; One of the reasons besides the obvious respirator is his wings. His talons were starting to grow, but they all grew at different times. So there would be some dull talons, some sharp talons....and some in the middle. Bate hated it and constantly complained about them not growing fast enough. (The growth process was, like, really, really slow.) It took many years for all of his talons to become sharp and fully functional.
But eventually, when he hit his 20's, they all grew in and he was finally content. XP
Good thing his son didn't develop his odd wing growth process. So that's good, yes? >u<
