OH, LOOK!!! IT'S DEDEDE'S MOMMA!!!!! 8D

I'm so excited to post thissss! I've been trying so hard finish the Dedede family tree, and his momma was the last one I needed to get done~ I always had an idea of what I wanted her to look like, but it just took longer to refine it. This is Brandy!! The late queen of Dreamland and lovable wife of King Grandy~ Think of their love as Bate and Ellie...legit, MAJOR MADLY in love with the other~ <33333 Also!!! Dedede's hammer originally belonged to her! She was a fierce fighter, and a true force to be reckoned with in battle!

I do have her bio pic all drawn and sketched, you can see a small wip here to get a better pic of what she looks like~! =D

I'll also add a few doodles as well to it, but I'm struggling a bit with her proportions/ dynamic poses, and A LOT with the style I'm trying to use for the entire penguin line.

I'm realizing the usual way I draw their beaks is not really working, so I've been looking at soooooo many references to make it a bit more realistic....at least in terms of being more realistic than what I use for the Guardians. XDDDD And...it's honestly been so difficult and kinda frustrating because I keep going back to my style. It just doesn't look as expressive?? Like, I can't make it too wide, or over exaggerate their expressions like I usually do, and it's killing meee!! It just looks...normal- Nice, but just not what I'm used to for GW. >x<;;;;;;

Also with those unposted sketches of Kana, the "pants" doodle, I kinda wanna define their legs...knees(??) thigh??? I don't know what to call it...bottom half??? a bit more. XDD

The point is!!! I'm trying new things, stepping out of my comfort zone MASSIVELY, and things are gonna look weird or off model while I figure this out~ So thank you for your patience while I fiddle around with it!! >v<;;;;; I was never good with drawing birds in the first place, and why I chose to make Guardian birds, and become obsessed with the Dedede line is beyond me.
