His recovery in South Nova went quicker than Tulok had imagined. Since the weather is finally suited to his body, he doesn’t need to constantly struggle to regulate his temperature. He’s able to rest without worry, without stress and fear, and maybe that’s why it only took him less than a week to get out of bed and start surveying his new home.
Wulfric, his grandfather, lives alone…
Well, used to.
He and his parents now fill several available rooms that’s been collecting dust over the years. They gave Tulok the biggest room as he DID have all of his belongings, not to mention medical equipment for his health. His parents shared another one across the room; Wulfric told him it was his mother’s old room before she moved to Pop Star. And Wulfric’s room was to his far left- filled with various weapons, pelts and photos of his family.
Tulok could sense the mood change in his grandfather. He looks happier, kinder! Chattier compared to previous visits. And Tulok thinks it’s because he and his mother are staying. His family is back, and he couldn’t be happier.
