The Two Queens

Judging by the glyph style, and the writing, I'm sure you know what that means!!!

For some context, while I was writing about Kana's bio, these two were mention VERYYYYY briefly. Like, just a small blurb about them. XDD But I still wanted to make an illustration for them because LORE! =D I'm still working on Kana's bio, but the doodles have been long finished...just...writing takes me a long time. ToT You can technically see the doodles here, but there's no description as I'm still writing it.

ANYWAYS!! Let me introduce you to some Pop Star lore for Gumball Warrior!!
***You need to be familiar with my lore to understand certain terms and characters.

The Two Queens

The two penguins you see above are Queen Deeana and Queen Deelia. Both are powerful Star Warriors who took the throne after protecting Dreamland from a multitude of Demon Beasts and monsters. Incredibly brilliant, the pair are the original creators of Pop Star's "Fountain of Dreams", and have created an all powerful Star Rod (Similar to Lord Paverok's Star Rod) using fragments of their own. The Star Rod has been passed down, and is in the possession of King Grandy. (Before his death)

Waddle Dee, who are the original occupants of the land, allowed the pair to rule together due to their selflessness to put their lives in danger to protect them. Eventually, the two groups established the monarchy of ‘Dee’ aka their Penguin kind and Waddle Dee. They have been a united pair ever since.

King Dedede is a direct descendant of the Two Queens- as in, he DOES have Star Warrior lineage in his blood. He may not be a Star Warrior himself, but he can use and control the Star Rod if needed.
(Star Rods are fickly things- takes commands to those only of pure of heart, or those with a direct bloodline of Star Warriors) Dedede was also the only one able to break apart the Star Rod, and scatter its pieces when Nightmare corrupted the Fountain of Dreams.

Kana's taken a liking to reading about their lineage, but the Two Queens has always been her personal favorite! She wants to make her ancestors proud, and work hard to protect Dreamland when she's older!
