The Schedule
(Meta / Bate)
“Hm? What’s this?” Bate sets aside his book, and grabs the notepad from Meta’s hand. Meta eagerly takes a seat across from the warrior and promptly begins to explain.
“Since you always make us follow a schedule, I made one for you as well!” He beams.
“Did you, now?” Bate raises a brow and briefly scans through it.
“Chocolate pancakes and candy in the morning?” He begins to read off some of the more ludicrous ones. “Playing on the beach before class starts. Racing with Teacher during lunch. Playing hide and seek with Teacher in the forest every weekend. No more reading books, or sleeping when we ask to play. Pillow fights every night. What’s this- ice cream once class ends…??”
“Yeah!!” He cheers “Pretty cool, huh? If you make me and Arthur brush our teeth, and make our beds, and clean our rooms, and take showers and stuff, you should follow some of ours in return!”
“Gumball….” The elder sighs. “You do realize there’s a huge difference between asking you to make your bed in the morning, and brushing your teeth verses having me spend an entire day playing with you lot.”
“Ummmm….” Meta thought about it for a moment, but eventually gave a small shrug of the shoulders. “Is there?”
