"Thank you, Alba...." Bate weakly spoke. Too tired to even lift his head, Bate crumpled back on the floor in pain.
"Honestly, Bate. What happened to only having one drink and coming right back home."
"Sorry...." He softly mumbled.
"Don't apologize to me, you're the one paying for it." She replied with a slight snark.
"Miss Alba." Meta's worried voice cuts in. "Is....is Teacher going to be alright?"
The squid reels back her frustration towards Bate, and places a gentle hand on Meta before giving the puff a small smile. "Your mentor will be just fine. Had a bit too much alcoh-- ah....lemonade to drink."
