Blood Ruby
The ability to summon crystals is an extremely rare trait passed down
from Gravel's clan. Anyone who is able to create such a thing is praised
and worshiped- for they have adopted the trait of their legendary ancestors.
Since there isn't many who has this ability left, those who are blessed
with it are treasured.
Unfortunately there is a taboo crystal among the clan- The Tainted Blood
Ruby. Anyone who summons the ruby is deemed unclean in the eyes
of the family, for this is the only crystal that needs blood for it to be
summoned. In worse cases, the user is killed off for their impurity
and corruption. Gravel was spared from his death but is seen
as a bad omen among them.

★Abilities
Helmet Illumination
Gravel has the ability to illuminate the holes in his helmet. It can range from
a variety of colors, but the most common color that is seen is yellow. It
usually lights up when he's thinking or embarrassed.
Infrared Perception
Another ability Gravel has when his helmet illuminates is infrared vision.
The color briefly changes to a bright green when doing so. It's a trait
passed down through his family as a way to get around in the poorly
lit labyrinth burrows they reside in.
Crystal Pillars
Using his lance, Gravel has the ability to form giant crystal pillars. It's a rare,
unique ability the older generation of Bukisets have. The stone on his
helmet represents the crystal he can summon, which is Ruby.
*Blood must be given to be able to
summon this powerful move.
★Weakness
Behavior/Short Temper
Gravel's uncaring provocative demeanor has caused many
to have ill tension towards him. Gravel can also be easily angered
and will lash out or even attack if his boiling point is reached.
★Health
Blood Pressure
Gravel has high blood pressure and unfortunately has
a very hard time keeping it under control, especially if
his anger gets in the way of things.
★Hibernating
During the cold months, Gravel hibernates until the
temperature is better suited for his body. Before burrowing
in his cavern for the next several weeks, he says his goodbyes
to Ramset, comrades, and students.
Gravel is able to be woken from his slumber if badgered
long enough. It will take him a few minutes to get adjusted
to his surroundings, however. He will tend to wobble and

Gravel is very protective over Ramset and will even go to the extreme
of killing said attacker if it means keeping him safe. There was only one
incident where Gravel had to go to such measures to protect him.
★Hobbies
Stone Carving
Gravel loves to spend his free time carving various rocks, boulders, and
even his crystals into different shapes and figures. Gravel typically
travels from town to town selling his creations in order to buy food
for Ramset. Sometimes he gives them away as gifts; one instance
was a heart shaped ruby that was given to Ramset.
★Bio
(Present)
An outsider and outcast, Gravel lives in the rocky terrain west of
Kalmari town. He lives alone and prefers to have it that way as he's
not as welcoming nor friendly towards others. When Ramset recently
came into his life, Gravel slightly opened up and isn't as aggressive and
hostile as before. He still has some anger issues to work out but isn't as
troubled by it like some.
-Dodge 'n Burn Arc-
Gravel was the last instructor to teach the five warriors. Unfortunately,
Gravel has a deep hatred for them and resigned his job as their teacher.
He furiously attacked them but was stopped by Gordon before he could
land a fatal hit to one of them.
Later that day, Ramset scolded Gravel for such behavior. He told him that
his anger was clouding his judgement and his deep hatred was his fault,
and his fault alone. He then says it was a mistake letting him teach them.
Once hearing this, Gravel decides to leave Kalmari. He says to Ramset that
his actions cannot be forgiven and that heading back to his home in North
Nova would be for the best. Ramset tries to stop him, but Gravel sticks
to his decision and leaves; ignoring his friends frantic cries.
Gravel apologizes to Ramset before taking off, saying he was
the last one he ever wanted to hurt.
-One Million Voice's Arc-
Gravel appears during the last part of the arc where he comforts Dragato and
Falspar after the supposed passing of Ramset. When Gravel senses Ramset is
still alive in the encased diamond pillar, the Bukiset quickly shatters it and
rescues him. After finally being reunited with Ramset, he eventually confesses
his feelings; unbeknownst to him that Ramset's unable to hear it. After slightly
fixing his cochlear implant, Ramset cheers that they'll be able to teach Dragato
and Falspar together. Gravel is last seen refusing to embrace his new students
in a hug when the pair try to give him one.
★PersonalitY
While Gravel may act distant and quite vulgar at times, he can be just as
caring or understanding when it comes to those he cares about. Gravel
can come off blunt when he's annoyed to a certain point and isn't shy
about expressing it when needed. He's also not afraid of standing his
ground and won't hesitate to fight to prove his point. He sometimes
has a hard time showing compassion, especially towards Dragato
and Falspar, but he's learning quickly for the sake of not only
them, but Ramset as well.

this time. He thought Gravel enjoyed his company and continued
to stay by his side because of it. Ramset would call Gravel his best
friend, which took the Bukiset by surprise from after all the things
he's been saying. Gravel eventually gave up and accepted his friendship.
He later then found out Ramset was deaf the whole time. Instead of
getting angry, he felt bad for the Sasuke and took him
to get his hearing repaired.

-The cloth that covers his arm was originally
blue, but Ramset gave him a new one since
he thought red suited him better.
-He hibernates during his birthday, so Ramset
always leaves his gift next to him when he wakes up.
