Purple Warp Star
Meta's Warp Star is hinted in Guardian of the Stars, and is shown in The Bird and The Knight
when Margalo asks Lady Atka to help Meta not consume himself with grief over his injured
mentor. At the end of the chapter, Margalo shows, and hands over their Warp Star to Meta;
saying he is ready to form the a Star Warrior / Guardian bond with her. It was put on hold,
however, since Bate needed to seek urgent medical attention, so their Warp Star is currently
in Margalo's possession until then.

The thought of losing his mentor can cause the warrior to be very protective, and sometimes

nightmares of the terrible incident, and he will usually head to Bate's room to seek comfort.
Because he sees Bate as more than a mentor, losing someone as special as him is reflected
in his behavior.

Being the baby of the group, Meta isn't as strong compared to his comrades.

a bit annoyed that he's not up to par like the rest, but works hard so he can
catch up to them.

Living together under the same roof, sibling rivalry and arguments constantly
break out in the Bate household. Everything from seeing who's stronger or
who flies faster, to petty things like who gets the last cookie, Arthur and Meta
will always have something to scrap about. Meta finds it frustrating that he's
always seen as the little brother of the family, and will do absolutely everything
in his power to prove Arthur wrong.....which ends in Arthur winning most
of the time since he's much stronger.
★Hobbies
Astronomy & Gardening
After living with Bate, the toddler picked up several hobbies from the elder.
While he's not much into gardening, he stays by Bate's side to help water
his plants, or help pick fruits or dig up vegetables. Astronomy, however,
is something Meta greatly enjoys. He will constantly drag Bate out of the
house once the stars appear, and will always ask about the different
planets in their galaxy. He made Bate promise that they'll travel to
one of the planets they talked about; Pop Star.

Drawing, Crafts
Like all children his age, Meta enjoys many crafts which include: Drawing,
painting, creating masks similar to the one Bate wears, and building forts.
He's quite imaginative, so Bate's living room is usually a mess when Meta
decides to let his creative side take over. He also loves to make lots of gift
for his mentor, which consists mostly of drawings or little trinkets.

Meta is currently a warrior in training, and hopes to one day
fulfill his purpose and fight in the war under the GSA. Aside from
his training, he loves to spend times with his mentor, and enjoys
his free days playing with his comrades and friends.
Pitch Me a Melody Arc
After failing to learn the Guardian Wing in Bate's class, the warrior sulked by
himself as he was heartbroken when he found out he was being transferred
out of the elder's class, and into Gordon instead.
When the sun started to set, Meta's attention was caught when he heard the sound of a
bird chirping. He complimented how pretty it sounded, and was responded with a reply
back. A small blue bird who went by the name of Melody thanked the warrior and introduced
herself to him. His interest was soon piqued when she knew he and Arthur were Star Warriors.
He was even more surprised to learn that Bate was one as well. Not sure how she knew this,
he asked who informed her about their titles. She promised to answer it if he brought her food
in return, so with slight annoyance, he ran back home and fetched candy for her. His mood started
to lighten up when he saw how much she liked it, and the pair spend the remainder of the day eating,
playing, and enjoying each others presence.
As they were watching the stars late in the night, Meta brought up the question once more
of how she knows so much about Star Warriors. Since it was getting late and both lost track
of time, Melody informed Meta that she'll tell him everything the next thing in the morning. Both
made a promise to meet near Kalmari forest, with Meta keeping his word that he'll bring more
candy for her as well.
The next day, Meta noticed Gordon and Ramset arguing near the entrance of Kalmari forest.
He overheard them talking about a Demon Beast attack, and saw Ramset holding up a blood
covered blue feather that matched Melody. Realizing that she was the one killed, the warrior
ran off; dropping the candy and drawing he brought for her.
Meta was later comforted by Gordon. He asked the elder why she had to die, but unfortunately
he was unable to answer such a question. Meta then asked Gordon if he lost anyone, which
he replied 'yes'. Meta learned that he lost many in his life; friends, family and even a mentor.
Gordon gives him some very wise words of advice soon after, which seems to lift the child's
spirit. Meta promises to not let the loss consume him, as well as being the best warrior he
could be so he'll be able to protect everyone he cares about. As he follows Gordon back
home, he leaves behind the candy he brought for her.
Torn Chapter Arc
Several weeks pass after the loss of Melody, and Meta's attention is caught when he heard
his mentor is heading to South Nova to spend a few days to celebrate his birthday with a
friend. Still hurt from the loss of Melody, Bate accepts Meta's plea to tag along, and both
prepare for their travel to South Nova.
While talking to Arthur about their future travels, an eerie chirping sound quickly caused Meta
to stop and look at the forest across from them. It reminded him of Melody, and with the hope
that she's still alive, he darts straight into the forest; ignoring Arthur's plea to stop. Once entering
the forest, he spots her necklace and races to it. He smiles a bit and calls out to her friend to come
out. A loud thud from a massive demon beast that appeared behind him caused him to completely
freeze in fear. After hearing that said beast killed melody, the warrior became petrified as it readied
to strike him. When he noticed that he wasn't hurt, he looked up to find that Bate blocked the attack.
Gravely inured from the battle after protecting Meta several times, Bate tells Meta that it's time for
them to say goodbye. Realizing what Bate meant by that, he refuses to leave, but Bate comforts the
frightened warrior and reassures them that no matter what happens to him, always live life with a
smile, and don't cry over his sacrifice. With tears in his eyes, Meta runs away to locate Gordon. He ends
up tripping, and rolls off a steep cliff trying to escape. The last thing he sees before passing out is
two mysterious birds.
Guardian of the Stars Arc
After waking up in an unfamiliar area, Meta is greeted by an unknown bird followed by a
Squishy who goes by the name 'Alba.' When Meta asks about Bate, Alba informs him that
he sustained severe injuries and required major surgery. When Meta heard he may not make
it, the small warrior blames himself and says he doesn't deserve the title of Star Warrior. He
later calms down when he meets an old Sphere Doomer named Lady Atka. He was informed that
not only did she know Bate, but she was the one they were going to visit in South Nova. Atka tells
Meta that she and Bate are really good friends, and goes on how much he talks about him when he
pays a visit. She informs the small warrior how important he truly means to Bate, which is why he was
willing to risk his life to protect him from Lucian. Meta denies her words and says if that were really
true, then his mentor would know how much he needs him. Bursting out in tears, Meta claims if he
dies, he'll never forgive the elder for leaving him.
Atka comforts the conflicted warrior and starts to tell him how Bate was once a father and husband
many years ago. Meta, not knowing Bate was married or even as kids, learns how he lost his family,
and how depressed and very bitter he was until he and the others came into his life. Meta realizes
if anything were to happen to him, his mentor would become sad like before.
Atka then leads the Warrior to another room to show him Bate's Warp Star. Meta notices
it's damaged and cracked, and asks Atka if his mentor will be okay. To his misfortune, she
is unable to answer it and says they'll have to wait and see.
The Bird and The Knight
Dozing off while waiting for his mentor's Warp Star to heal, Meta later wakes up
to find all the cracks have disappeared. Margalo then appears and informs him that Bate
is finally awake, and motions him to follow her so they can reunite. Before Meta has the
chance to open the door to meet him, he is stopped by another Guardian named Ekon. Unlike
Margalo, Ekon is not welcoming to Meta and show much distaste to the Warrior. He blames
Meta for the death of Melody, and the incident with Bate as well. Before the fight further
escalates, Alba steps in and scolds Ekon for his behavior towards Meta. The Guadrian
eventually apologizes to the warrior and leaves the group.
Meta, now troubled by the words of Ekon, has second thoughts of seeing Bate. He realizes
he really was the one who almost caused his death, and refuses to see him. Atka eventually
steps in and, using Bate's and Meta's Warp Star, helps him see though the eyes of Bate's past.
Meta passes out once it happens, and wakes up in an unfamiliar place similar to the one
Bate took him in Torn Chapter.
He is shown several important memories; one with he and Ellie coming up with names to give their children,
another one where Gordon comforts him once he received the news of Ellie passing away, and another
where he(?) was attacking Gordon in a fit of rage. Not believing his mentor would ever do such thing to Gordon,
he ran away from the memories, but lost his footing and tripped moments later. He hears Bate's voice once
more, but unlike last time, he sees not only Bate, but himself as well. Not remembering the encounter since
it seems like he was just an infant in it, he sees Bate taking care of him as well as hearing a conversation
he and Atka were sharing. Now knowing how much Bate really cares for him, the warrior finally wakes up to
find Alba and Bate towering over him. Meta dashes towards Bate and hugs him; saying he knows how
important he really is to him.
When it's time to finally head back to Kalmari Town, Margalo presents their Warp Star to them,
and says they need to form a bond in order for him to be the holder of their star. They're unable
to, however, because Bate needs urgent care and Atka informs them that the ceremony will have
wait. Meta agrees since he cares more about the well being of his teacher. He instead rides on his
mentors Warp Star instead as they finally head back home.

★PersonalitY
Cheerful and boisterous, Meta is never shy to meeting new friends and go on
any adventure that's set upon him. Warm, friendly and welcoming, Meta will
always be there to lend a hand no matter what and, like his comrades, is very loyal
to his group of friend and mentors.
There are times where his emotions get the better of him and scuffles break
out, but petty fights as such are usually mended before the day is done. Although
the runt of the group, he has quite a bark and will not back down from a fight if someone
he cares about is in trouble, and will do his best whatever he can. He also has a very curious
air to him , which leads him in heaps of trouble from all the messes and shenanigans he gets into.

Meta sees Bate as not only his mentor, but his father figure and greatest supporter. At a young
age, Meta would always be around him- whether it was trying to wake him up to play, or
tagging along to go shopping, Meta will most always be seen with the older warrior by
his side. Although many see Bate as battle scarred and bitter, Meta helped the warrior
overcome his traumatic past to the point where he has a more playful, calming air to him.
Of course, Bate still can be grumpy and distant at times, but this doesn't stop Meta. While
many are too timid to approach the old warrior, his grumpiness has absolutely no effect on
the little warrior. Many often wonder how someone so playful and happy can be with
someone as quiet and....scary as Bate.
Because of his frail health, Meta is known to have a very clingy and overbearing to the
warrior from time to time. When Bate is too ill and becomes bed bound, he and Gordon
will have to go to great lengths to persuade Meta to even think about leaving him to recover

While traveling to South Nova to visit Atka, Meta and Bate were caught in a freak blizzard which
caused the pair to seek shelter. Meta ended up passing out and woke up to find himself in a room
made from ice. While taking a look at his surroundings, he spotted what looked to be a Leo around
his age. She happily introduced herself, and was quite interested in knowing more about him since it
was very rare to have visitors in her village. Since their village is very strict with outsiders, Kes made
sure to get the approval of her father so she could show Meta around. The pair bonded quickly and
became good friends by the end of the tour.
Once realizing he and Bate won't be able to enter their village again, Kes and Meta hatched a plan where
she'll be able to locate Kalmari Town. Giving her his Warp Star, he said it will be able to lead her to him.
Kes agreed to their plan and kept the star hidden until several weeks have passed. She left one day
and was guided by the star where she eventually reached his home many days later. Once arriving,
Meta kept her hidden in the closet, but was soon discovered by Arthur within the same day. Meta
pleaded with Arthur not to tell their mentor about it since he knew Bate will most likely send her
back. Not wanting to get in trouble from their shenanigans, Arthur says he wants absolutely no
part in it, and turns a blind eye.
Meta was able to show Kes several of the shops; including Petta's flower shop, and Marlo's
ice cream parlor. Once the tour of the plaza was done, Meta suggested they go to Kalmari Forest
since all of his comrades were currently having a snowball fight there, and he wanted them to
meet her. It didn't take long to spot them, and the pair went over to greet them. Unfortunately,
Ramset was currently perched on one of the tree branches, and went unnoticed by Meta when
they entered the clearing. After everyone greeted each other, the Sasuke appeared to meet her
as well. When he asked where she was visiting from, Meta lied and said he met her while practicing
his flying. Ramset didn't pick up on the lie and motioned them to head back to their home for some
lunch. Both agreed along with Dragato and Falspar, and the others left to head back to Bate's home
to inform him about the new friend they made.
While enjoying Nova Crunch at Ramset's place, Meta and Kes jolt back in surprise when they hear
Bate frantically knocking on the other side of the door. The pair quickly bolts out of the living room
and escapes through an open window in the back. It didn't take long for Bate to catch up to the pair,
and after a small argument broke out, Meta and Kes eventually accepts that she will have to return.
Bate offers to house her for the night, which she agrees with a sadden smile. Meta tries to cheer
her up by suggesting they can build a pillow fort in the living room...which causes the Leo to crack
a smile.
Meta wakes Kes up the next morning after a powerful blizzard woke him up. With Both Teachers
missing, Meta starts to worry since he figured it was her father that caused the sudden storm.
Realizing that their time together is coming to an end, Kes bids farewell to Meta as they part
ways. They make a promise to meet again one day, and say their final goodbye.
Meta still thinks about her from time to time, hoping she'll visit Kalmari one day.
He also carries a star shaped charm she gifted to him in memory of her.

Once realizing he and Bate won't be able to enter their village again, Kes and Meta hatched a plan where
she'll be able to locate Kalmari Town. Giving her his Warp Star, he said it will be able to lead her to him.
Kes agreed to their plan and kept the star hidden until several weeks have passed. She left one day
and was guided by the star where she eventually reached his home many days later. Once arriving,
Meta kept her hidden in the closet, but was soon discovered by Arthur within the same day. Meta
pleaded with Arthur not to tell their mentor about it since he knew Bate will most likely send her
back. Not wanting to get in trouble from their shenanigans, Arthur says he wants absolutely no
part in it, and turns a blind eye.
Meta was able to show Kes several of the shops; including Petta's flower shop, and Marlo's
ice cream parlor. Once the tour of the plaza was done, Meta suggested they go to Kalmari Forest
since all of his comrades were currently having a snowball fight there, and he wanted them to
meet her. It didn't take long to spot them, and the pair went over to greet them. Unfortunately,
Ramset was currently perched on one of the tree branches, and went unnoticed by Meta when
they entered the clearing. After everyone greeted each other, the Sasuke appeared to meet her
as well. When he asked where she was visiting from, Meta lied and said he met her while practicing
his flying. Ramset didn't pick up on the lie and motioned them to head back to their home for some
lunch. Both agreed along with Dragato and Falspar, and the others left to head back to Bate's home
to inform him about the new friend they made.
While enjoying Nova Crunch at Ramset's place, Meta and Kes jolt back in surprise when they hear
Bate frantically knocking on the other side of the door. The pair quickly bolts out of the living room
and escapes through an open window in the back. It didn't take long for Bate to catch up to the pair,
and after a small argument broke out, Meta and Kes eventually accepts that she will have to return.
Bate offers to house her for the night, which she agrees with a sadden smile. Meta tries to cheer
her up by suggesting they can build a pillow fort in the living room...which causes the Leo to crack
a smile.
Meta wakes Kes up the next morning after a powerful blizzard woke him up. With Both Teachers
missing, Meta starts to worry since he figured it was her father that caused the sudden storm.
Realizing that their time together is coming to an end, Kes bids farewell to Meta as they part
ways. They make a promise to meet again one day, and say their final goodbye.
Meta still thinks about her from time to time, hoping she'll visit Kalmari one day.
He also carries a star shaped charm she gifted to him in memory of her.
Margalo
With their personalities striking similar, Margalo and Meta
are one in the same. Both outgoing and super friendly, it's
not hard to see that she's the Guardian of him. Anytime she
visits, Meta will always have lots of adventures planned, and
plenty of candy to share with her.

Melody
Although their meeting was short lived, Meta considers Melody
one of his best friends. After her passing, he visits the spirit
shrine in Kalmari Town every year and places her favorite
candy for her.

Being the Guardian of Bate, Meta greatly respects the old Doomer and will make
sure his behaviors in check when he's around. Because of her wisdom and vast
knowledge she's gathered throughout her years, Meta will always seek advice
from her. Meta will also sneak in a few questions in about his mentor since he's
always curious about their younger years in South Nova.
Being the Guardian of Bate, Meta greatly respects the old Doomer and will make

- Meta sleeps with an old teddy bear Bate gifted him to help with his nightmares.
-If nightmares get the best of him, he will usually head to Bate's room. He
finds comfort when being snuggled and protected by his mentors large wings.
-He has a HUGE sweet tooth and keeps a rather
large jar of candy, that Bate gifted him, in his room.
-It's rare when his full name is used, and usually the only time
Meta hears it is when he frustrates his teacher to a certain point.
-His childhood dream aside from protecting his town
from Demon Beasts is to own and run a candy shop.
