Since every Warrior has an arc of their own once they enter (and leave) the GSA, I thought I’d post a little bit about Meta’s since everyone else has been somewhat revealed. It was quite fun writing his…but then again, it’s fun writing about everyone. XDD
Meta’s arc focuses a lot about dealing, and coping with change. Unlike the other 4, Meta is living on a whole different planet. He’s unable to handle being on his own (As in, without his teacher or friends) and trying to fit in to a town where nobody knows him. He gets very lonely, disconnected and homesick at times since Pop Star is extremely far from West Nova, and he has no way to really contact anyone. He’s going to meet many new faces during his journey, explore many new areas, and end up making the terribly hard decision of having to stay when he is asked for a very important task of raising a certain Star Warrior. Anyways, I truly hope you do enjoy this little teaser, and maybe sorta relate to him on some level when it comes to dealing with something new.
As for the characters above, most of their design is set in stone. Their names or color palette are subject to change, but I will decide later on since there’s still quite a lot of time before I make anything official. But for now, a small description of each character is written below:
Spoilers, Obviously
(You may need to have previous knowledge of my series to understand some terms.)
Kana: The town elder. Because of her welcoming, generous behavior towards everyone in town, many treat her with the upmost respect, and will come to her defense if it seems like she’s in trouble. (She’s like the towns grandmother, in a way) She spends much of her time in the Place of Healing; studying and learning about the history of Star Warriors. Surprisingly, Kana is also the caretaker of a Star Warrior herself! Said warrior appeared one day in the temple, but unfortunately, she is unable to raise him due to her age. She would like to find another Star Warrior in hopes that they would adopt, and raise him as their own. So far, she has not found anyone.
Side note: She cannot speak English, and is only able to speak in Chirp.
Vee: The town bodyguard from wandering demon beasts. She is extremely skilled as her father was a Star Warrior who once trained her in combat before he passed away. She is also a hybrid- (Half Chameleo Arm and half Winged Egger) and has many abilities and traits from both sides. The only issue in being both Chameleo and Egger is not being able to walk properly. Because she stretches her limbs on a regular basis while fighting, it has caused her bones to deteriorate to the point where she cannot stand without the use of any sort of support. She tends to stumble a lot and uses a wooden stick to help her, and in some occasions, braces. Vee prefers not to wear them, though, and camouflages in public so no one will be able to see her fumble.
Side note: Because she is part Chameleo Arm, she is able to change to many different colors seen above. She also spends the cold seasons in hibernation, and will not be able to protect the town during that time.
Meta Knight: After leaving the GSA, he stayed with his Teacher who welcomed him with open arms. Bate, thanks to Atka, suggested the pair pay a visit to Pop Star for a small vacation as they planned to visit there many years ago. Meta happily agreed, and within several months of planning, the warrior was ready to leave to go on a new adventure with his mentor.
When it was finally time to leave, Meta was heartbroken to find out that Bate was unable to go due to a turn in his health. Bate gave his ticket to Meta and asked him to find someone else to journey and travel with. He promised he’d make it up to him somehow once he recovered. Meta ended up taking his Guardian along since everyone was quite busy dealing with their own life and family. The pair traveled to Pop Star, and although Meta’s still a bit moody and slightly anxious about not having his teacher by his side, he tries his best to keep his word and have a good time.
Kirby: A young Star Warrior who appeared on the planet of Pop Star one day. Still young and unable to talk except for an occasional babble or two, his current caretaker is seeking another Star Warrior to adopt and train him.
Margalo: The bubbly, optimistic Guardian of Meta. After being invited to travel to Pop Star with him, Margalo does her best to look on the bright side, and cheer her master up since his behavior is quite somber and sour from not having Bate with him.
