I have a few AUs in this series. There are only a hand few that I really enjoy writing when I'm bored. Ah, this one above...well, it's not my favorite, but I really liked a few parts of it. (One of which is the scene I drew above. ;u;
In a nutshell, Bate falls in love with someone many, many, many years after the death of Ellie, Emma and Kade. He's very hesitant because he's still in love with Ellie, and feels like moving on would be betraying her. Ramset tries to comfort him, saying Ellie would've wanted him to move on and be happy.
I kinda stopped writing this AU since I really couldn't picture Bate falling in love with another....it was a bit, I dunno, ooc of Bate to do such a thing. He's much to loyal to Ellie to fall in love with someone else. Still...I did like some parts of it, and that's why I decided to draw it.
