-Out for Lunch-
(Bate / Ramset)
Saying their first encounter was a train wreck would be an understatement. Ramset, who just recently met Bate patiently sat in the waiting room outside of the doctors office. It was a few weeks after their meeting, and Ramset's been visiting Bate everyday to make sure he was okay; sometimes at his home, sometimes in Kamari Forest, or even sometimes at the elder's regular sleeping spots. Though Bate reassured him he was perfectly fine since the incident, the Sasuke was still unsure. Ramset quickly looked up when he heard the door click. The knob started to twist and Bate walked out.
"Bate!" Ramset yelled out and ran to him. Bate, who didn't expect him to be here, took his greeting by surprise.
"I...ummm....w-what are you doing here?"
"Surprised, huh?" He flashed him a grin, "I knew you'd be. I took it upon myself to wait here just to make sure if you needed my assistance."
"Assistance?" Bate questioned.
"You know..." Ramset started to ramble, "Getting back home, or maybe picking up something from the market. Oh! Or maybe getting something to eat, perhaps?" Ramset put quite a lot of emphasis on the last part.
Bate pushed the rambunctious Sasuke aside and started to walk to the exit. "Thanks, but no thanks. I'm quite capable doing all that without someone by my side."
Ramset hung his shoulders when he saw Bate leave the office. He quickly followed and caught up to the Puffball. Bate saw and let out a frustrated sigh.
"Don't you have anywhere else to be?"
"Nope!" He smiled, lightly clinging on to one of his wings. "I took the whole day off just for you."
"Lucky me." Bate sarcastically mumbled and shook his wing to get Ramset to let go.
"I know, right?" He said, clearly not aware of the elders sarcasm. "So, what do you wanna do?"
"Sleep." He bluntly said.
"Sleep? But that's what you always do!!!" He whined. "Can't you do something else?"
"If I don't, are you going to throw another bomb at me?" He snapped back.
Ramset flinched a bit from his cold words. He hated to be reminded of that incident. Rasmet, though hurt by his comment, still gave him a small smile. The last thing he wants to do is hurt his new friend, so instead of arguing he decided to agree with his previous wish.
"Of course not. I...well, if you want to sleep, then that's fine by me. We can rest in the forest if you'd like."
Bate suddenly felt a bit guilty from his sour behavior. Even after all of his mean statements, Ramset was still kind enough to let him rest. He knew Ramset didn't mean to hurt him, and even now he was trying so hard to mend his actions. Bate knew he needed to stop being so mean and open up a little. He decided, for once, to be kind.
"W-well...maybe later," He quietly mumbled, "I guess we could eat something first."
He saw Ramset beam with excitement. The Sasuke grabbed his arm and made his way to the nearest resurant. Bate, trying to keep up, just knew he made a huge mistake.

Bate watched in disgust as Ramset was about to finish his 10th bowl of ramen. The Sasuke finally finished slurping down the broth and loudly placed the bowl on the table, gaining the attention of a few customers.
"Waiter!" he called out, "Another bowl, please!!"
Bate couldn't believe it. How could someone his size eat so much?!! He practically ate more than twice his body weight in noodles! The elder checked his wallet to make sure he had enough when the bill arrived; he didn't think he'd be spending ten times the amount just on one outing. He, again, watched as Ramset eagerly took the bowl from the equally shocked waiter and started to scarf it down.
