Mutt
(Hiero / Ramset / Gravel)
“Ah! So, I see you have a Mutt of your own!”
Hiero’s steady gaze falls on Gravel. The words hit Bate and Gordon like a wet blanket. Both stiffen at the remark, but dare not speak a word in his presence. Ramset slightly leans next to Gravel and whispers in his ear.
“What’s a Mutt?” He speaks.
“I don’t know, he mumbles back. A bodyguard maybe? Just say yes, he’s staring at us.”
“A-ah!” Ramset awkwardly shuffles forward and gives a nod. “Yes! I do! The strongest Mutt this side of North Nova! His name is Gravel!”
“Ah, so you named it as well?” Hiero muses. “Quite generous of you.”
Ramset pauses. Somehow, he feels like what he just said was the wrong thing to say….
