SAD ART TIME!!!! ;A;
For those who do not know, this comic is referring to this page here from 'Grand Illusion'
I've also drabbled about it here, as well as this illustration here.
Gordon and Bullet were created in a factory in Centeral Crux. Gordos and Blados are usually seen as battle projectiles, and nothing more, but both of them also have the extremely rare ability to form hands- which led to Bullet being tested on by his creators to figure out what caused such an anomaly. When a Gordo was found out to have the same unique ability as Bullet, the Creators placed him in the same cell as him to be experimented on in the future. Because of Bullets attachment to the little Gordo, Gordon was ultimately spared for the time being, in return for Bullet receiving Gordon's portion of the testing. Bullet would be gone most of the day because of it, and Gordon doesn't understand why. He would beg Bullet to come alone, but Bullet would always tell him there's nothing important in the other rooms.

The death of Bullet
After a massively botched, failed experiment, Creators found no use in Bullet, and finally decided it was time to scrap him. During said experiment- Bullet lost his ability to float, speak , and the ability to use his hands; which, in the words of his creators, "Made the scrapping process go by relatively fast." Sadly, Bullet was aware of everything during the scrapping process. As the creators began cutting off his blades, they relentlessly taunted and teased him- telling Bullet that Gordon is next in line to be experimented on. And how Gordon's suffering will be much worse, because his protector isn't there to save him anymore. As Bullet was being hoisted up to be smelted to make the next batch of Blados, his final thoughts were of Gordon. He hopes everything he's taught Gordon up to this point will give him the advantage to escape. With Duet still in Gordon's possession, Bullet knows he's is strong enough to do it. He gives his final farewell, and apologizes that he wasn't able to properly say goodbye.
Once Gordon received the axe that contained Bullet's Blades as a gift from the creators, he obviously broke down in tears. He never expected to lose Bullet- both made a promise to escape together when Gordon was strong enough. Gordon lost what he considered was his father. He was all alone now- only Duet and his new axe by his side.
Gordon did eventually escape, but the death of Bullet left him really jaded and disconnected from forming any bonds once he joined the GSA. Of course, he eventually formed a friendship with Bate, and the two have been together ever since. Gordon still thinks about Bullet -he feels like a part of him is watching over, and protecting him anytime he wields his weapon. He hopes Bullet is proud that he finally escaped, and that he's married with kiddos of his own. And he hopes, one day, he'll be able to reunite with his father to thank him for all that he's done- his love, teaching and sacrifice allowed him to have such a fulfilling life~ <3
