So we get to know a bit about Melody in this page. She is, in fact, a Guardian. x) And yes, her master did unfortunately die as an infant. She didn't cease to exist and continued living even though her master died. ;o; Her age process is extremely slow, though; which is why she looked like a child when Meta befriended her. So hopefully the last pages of PMaM makes sense now. n.n
