-Fire VS. Ice-
(Pyrell / Kesuk)
Kes smiled at the other Leo before him, and Pyrell raised a brow when she suggested the absurd idea of sparring with him. He doesn’t like to boast, but he can certainly say he’s one of the strongest out of the current group of Star Warriors. He’s been trained to the point where most attacks rarely effect him at all. Just who was this Leo anyways?
“You’re an ice based Leo…” He pointed out.
“I am, but don’t think that’ll give you an advantage.” She gave him a small nudge. “I’m one of the greatest hunters in my village. I’ve taken down creatures twice as big as you, so don’t sell me short- I’m a force to be reckoned with.”
“Yeah, but you are an Ice Leo….” He, again, mentioned it and not sugar coating what he had to say next.” I could kill you in one hit….”
“If you can even get to me.” She pointed out. “Long range, close combat…I do it all. Sure, you can try and attack, but my blizzards will stop you right in your tracks and freeze you before you can even take a swing towards me.”
“Is that so?” He challenged her words. “I’m able bring forth lava from the very ground you stand on. Your blizzards don’t stand a chance against my brute strength.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.” He bit back, changing his mind about this one. “Okay, then, fine. But just because it’s a spar doesn’t mean you won’t face the consequences of playing with fire.” He warned. "You will get burned, and I hold no accountability for that."
“Likewise. Ever get burned by ice? You could lose a limb if not careful…” She taunted.
“Ah…Pyrell, are you sure you really want to battle right now?” Falspar spoke up and pointed to the restaurant they were heading too. “Maybe sparring isn't the best idea right now. And…I…ah…about her…."
“It won’t be long, Falspar.” He reassured before he had the chance to finish. “Fire will always beat ice. That’s the law of nature, but I suppose no one ever told her this.”
He puffed up his cheeks and blew several fire balls at her. She quickly dodged and gave the other a smirk. “Do you think those little specks of embers have any chance against my unforgiving storm?”
The sudden drop of temperature around the area caught Pyrell off guard. He quickly raised his temperature and readied himself for her attack. Ground shaking, several large pillars of ice surrounded the pair. Kes perched herself on one of them and drew her blade.
“I’ll show you that the laws of nature can be changed!”
Gripping her weapon, she quickly glided down the large ice pillar and made a dash to the other. Pyrell didn’t move, and took the full hit of the attack.
“Like I said….” Pyrell spoke once the broken blade of her sword hit the ground. “Fire will always beat ice.”
He grabbed the other half of the blade she was still holding and proceeded to melt it with his touch alone. Kes jumped back a few feet and gave him a weary, but determined smile. “Nice fire power you got there. You certainly live up to the name of Burning Leo. No matter…I’ll just-“
Kes had no time to react when a large wall of fire engulfed her. She was shot back several feet, and laid motionless as Pyrell towered above her.
“You talk too much…” He grabbed her by the neck and raised his other hand with a large wisp of fire resting on it. “Thank you for showing me your skills, but Falspar and I are hungry so time’s up.”
As he motioned his hand towards her, Pyrell quickly dropped Kes when a sword came flying at his direction.
“Oh great…."With a rather annoyed sigh, he looked at the other who interfered. Meta pulled his sword from ground and pointed it straight at him with the intent to kill.
“Leave, now.” He said, his eyes changing to a bright crimson. “Before you make me regret my next move."
