The stress of trying to keep his promise to Petta and being ignored by Bate was too much for the poor warrior. Not to mention he's still not used to the weights, and he ran quite a lot trying to catch up to his mentor. Although it was just fatigue, Bate is worried nonetheless and races to get him. ;^;
