Legacy
Ramset / Falspar / Tula
"Hey, Dad, what’s this?” Tula asked as she struggled to hold the item in question above her head. It was larger and much heavier than she anticipated, and she hoped it wasn't something important since she was starting to lose her grip.
“T-Tula, sweetie, please don’t touch that.”
It took only less than a second for Falspar to be by her side once he looked up to see what she was holding. He gently took it from her grasp and gave a sigh of relief that there was no harm to it. Falspar proceeded to head back to his room to put it back in its original spot; Tula curiously following behind. She stopped at the entrance and watched closely as he set it back on the small stand in the corner of his room. Above it were a few photos, and several other weapons. Eventually, she cautiously walked in and stood next to it as well.
"I...I'm sorry..." She said when she realized it was probably something she shouldn't have touched. Everything was still fairly new to her since she's only been living with them for a few weeks. She didn't consider that maybe going in her parents room without permission wasn't the smartest idea.
"It's fine, no need to worry." He waved it off and gave her comforting pat on her head. He then picked up one of the many photos above the stand and handed it to her.
She carefully looked it over, while Falspar started to speak.
"What you were holding belonged to your late Grandfather Ramset. It was one of the last bombs he made." He explained.
Tula remembered him talking about being raised by a Sauske when they first met. Was...this "Ramset" the one he was referring to?
"He's.....your dad?" She asked as her curiosity was piqued from the photo of them together.
"Ah- you could say..." He gave a small laugh since he rarely called him that. In fact, he could only recall doing such a thing 2 or 3 times when he was alive. "He was my mentor. He raised me and your Uncle Dragato when we were juuuust around your age."
Tula gently set the photo aside once he finished talking and tried to take a better look at the other photos above her. Falspar noticed, and picked her up since she was unable to reach them. He watched as she'd take one in her hand, study it for a few seconds, and then go to the next one. Once she was done, Falspar set her back down, and she gave her father a small, somber like smile.
"I wish I could've met him." She said when she saw how happy everyone were in the photos. "Do...you think he would've liked me?"
"Like?" Laughter filled the air, and Falspar quickly swooped Tula back in his arms before gently nuzzling her. "Oh, he would've LOVED you! He always wanted to be a Grandfather after Spiky and Wheezy became one, and now look! If he were here today, I'm sure he would've spent every second with you."
"R-really?!!" Her once melancholy voice soon became nonexistent when she heard him say that.
"Really, you two are so much alike. You'd be spending so much time together, I doubt I'd even have the chance to see you anymore because of it." He slightly chuckled at the thought of it. "But even if he's not around anymore, your awesome dad's here- and although I'm not nearly as amazing as him, I can certainly try my best." He puffed up his chest in a pompous manner,
He received a small giggle from the Sasuke, and Falspar couldn't help but beam from the compliment following soon after.
"You are just as cool as Grandfather Ramset. I'm sure he will agree as well."
He hoped he could keep true to her words.
