She mused as she began to explain the latest project from their company.

<<Project B.A.T.E was quite a challenge. Much more stubborn and feistier than our older model; Mecha Knight. His
free will still seemed to show during testing, so we had to do a major re-boot to make sure he was under our utmost control.

<Still....you can see there is visible wear on him; his mask, especially. He did not take too kindly during the operation,
and gave us quite a fight. Unfortunately, his mask did take some damage...buuuuuut, it should not effect his performance.

<Much stronger and faster than our older model, project B.A.T.E will sure to be our company's greatest asset.
Of course...we still have much to improve on him. He does tend to overheat and requires liquid cooling every 3
hours, and not to mention the large amount of air pollution he causes when running.

<Now, then....do you still dare to take us on?

Brutal Attacking Thermal engine AKA B.A.T.E

Concept of Bate if he were to appear in Robobot. I'm still fiddling around with the design since I don't like the wings. I may change them to a holo-like wing (kinda like the Holo Defense API bosses) But for now, here's the first sketch of him. =w=;

I decided to use an acronym for his name as nothing really seemed to roll off the tongue with Mecha Knight. x) I think it sounds cool, so I'm happy about that.

-Other info-

It was no easy feat to transform Bate as he put up quite a fight during the procedure. Unfortunately he was defeated in the end and given a complete makeover. Kirby must now defeat his grandfather in order to restore peace back to Pop Star.

The ability he gives is Poison, and to defeat B.A.T.E, Kirby/MK must completely break his mask off as it shuts down his programming.
