Sadly, Gravel can't wait any longer and must hibernate. He's left with the bitter thought of Ramset abandoning him in favor for Bate and the kiddos. =(

So. Gravel. He considers Ramset his first and only friend up to this point. He had a pretty terrible childhood where he was shunned and chastised by everyone for his ruby ability. I mean- if you guys know anything about the roach, you know how bad his childhood is. XP He never had any friends growing up, so Gravel has this type of possessive, obsessive behavior after allowing Ramset to enter his life. As in- Ramset is HIS friend, and only HIS friend. Anyone who tries to impede on their friendship can kick rocks. Which obviously isn't a healthy mindset. Ramset is allowed more than one friend. So, when Ramset didn't arrive to say goodbye, it completely derailed Gravel. He thinks Ramset doesn't care for him- which IS NOT true. But Ramset isn't there atm to explain his side of the story to ease him.

Gravel shattered the ruby he made, (Hey, look!!! I said the name of the chapter!!!) and claims he won't ever stand in Ramset's way in the future.
