(Sir Bate / Lady Atka)
"High up in the mountains reside the remains of an ancient temple. Look hard enough and you'll find the keeper of the temple, Kabu. He may give you the advice you seek."
Bate sighed at the answer his friend gave. "Atka, that's not what I had in mind. Can't you....I don't know, just tell me instead?"
The Sphere Doom giggled a bit. "Oh? Did you expect me to give you the answer myself?" She flicked his head with one of her tails. "I'm sorry, Bate, but you know I can't do that."
"Yeah, yeah...because you hate spoiling a chapter." He annoyingly rolled his eyes. "You always say that."
Both were silent before Bate spoke again.
"Hey, Atka?"
"Hm?" She turned around and faced him.
"Will, ummm....w-will he be able to help?"
Atka heard the unsureness in his voice. She knew Bate better than anyone. Though he may look strong and brave, Atka knows that Bate is extremely unsure and fearful; asking others what he should do with his life. She went over and gently hugged him with one of her wings.
"Bate, you can't guarantee the future you want with advice from others all the time." She locked eyes with the Puffball. "It's up to you to figure out what you want. If you decide fight in the war, then it's because you chose to be in it."
She looked at the sky and pointed to the stars. "If you go, there's going to be a chance you won't come back. But....there is a chance you may. You won't know unless you try."
"So, you're saying I should go?"
She shook her head. "No, I'm saying to follow the path you want to travel on."
"And...which path would that be?"
Atka could only laugh at his persistence
