-A Guardian's Recovery-
(Falspar / Alto)
“Alto, are you sure you’ll be okay recovering here?” Falspar asked with a hint of doubt in his voice.
“Thank you for your concern, Master, but I will be just fine.” He reassured as he rested his head on the stack of pillows Falpsar made for him.
The Puff just sighed and kneeled down to his level. “I can still move everything to my room if you’d prefer…” He said. The corner of the living room didn’t seem like a suitable resting area, but Alto insited on it. Now thinking it over, maybe he should’ve left him at the hospital until he was actually able to move again.
“W-what? And let you and Lord Pyrell sleep in the living room?” His voice seemed almost in disbelief that he would even suggest such a thing. “My Master, this is a perfect little area to finish my recovery, thank you.” He let out a small, tired yawn and closed his eyes to rest.
A small whine escaped the Star Warriors mouth from his formalness, and he left to head to the other room where Pyrell and Tula were waiting.
“How’s he doing?” Pyrell was the first to speak.
“He’s…resting. I tried to offer our room until he was fully recovered, but he “insisted” the living room would be just as good….”
“Your Guardian always was a bit headstrong when it comes to putting Star Warriors first.” Pyrell slightly lifted up his wrapped arm where they took his blood. “He couldn’t even accept the fact I donated my blood to help him. He seemed almost in shock when you told him that….”
“Don’t remind me…” He slightly sighed. He couldn’t understand where his Guardian adopted this behavior, but after this incident, he knew things were going to have to change. The Puff glanced at the two sitting next to him and came up with an idea.
“Okay, so up until this point, Alto’s been doing everything for us. He watches over Tula, he makes sure our every needs are tended to, and he never once complains about it. Starting today, it’s our turn to return the favor.”
Falspar pointed at Pyrell, “If it looks like he needs anything at all, both of us will be there to help him. Don’t let him get up, and do not take no for an answer.”
Pyrell gave a nod while Falspar started to instruct Tula.
“Until he’s up on his feet again, you’ll have to let your uncle rest in the mean time. That means no rough housing or playing outside until the doctor gives the okay.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll be sure to leave Uncle Atlo to recover.” The Sasuke gave a small salute as if this were an important mission.
“Alright, then.” Falspar smiled, and all three left the room to prepare to get lunch ready.

The sound of plates, silverware and the smell of food woke the sleeping Guardian from his nap. He looked up and saw Lord Pyrell and his Master near the stove, and Tula trying to set the table. Usually he’d be the one setting the table or help with the food…..
“S-Sir Falspar?” He called out trying to sit up a bit more. He saw the warrior turn around and head towards him.
“Lunch is almost ready, are you hungry?” He asked, lightly patting his head.
The Guardian gave a shy nod and peeked his head over his shoulder to watch the other two take their seats. Falspar saw and stood back up to get his meal. “I’ll be back in a minute with your bowl.”
“O-oh…” Alto slightly frowned. “I can get it myself, you don’t need to-“
“It’s fine.” Falspar waved it off and arrived moments later. He sat next to the Guardian and held the bowl of warm soup up to him. The Puff carefully lifted the spoon near Alto’s beak, but he swiftly shook his head.
“S-sir Falspar!!” He slightly laughed and motioned him to set the bowl down. “I can feed myself, there’s no need for you to do that.”
“Your neck hasn’t fully recovered, Alto. You don’t want to rip your stitches, so please-“ He held it up again.
The Guardian slightly hesitated but eventually opened his mouth after whispering a small thank you to him.
